Lara Atallah's amazing exhibition "If Walls Can Talk"

Through her series of pictures artist Lara Atallah wanted to immortalize an old abandoned school found in Bliss street, and the memories hidden in its walls.

Mission accomplished for the artist. As soon as you enter the  Ayyam gallery you  feel overwhelmed by emotions coming out from the photographs. It's like that old school was back to life

You can  imagine the teacher at the blackboard, children laughters seem confined in the stack of chairs, and the big blue door is just waiting to be opened. One more time the magic of Art operates. Walls really can talk!

Lara Atallah is a talented emerging Lebanese photographer. Born
in Beirut in 1989 she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the American University of Beirut. Since graduating, she has dedicated her work to address social issues.
